About Beyond The Box Advocacy
Beyond The Box Advocacy is a disability policy and systems organization founded by Lilly Grossman. Our work brings together direct advocacy, research, policy analysis, and public engagement in pursuit of The Disabled Dream.
We are developing a federal approach to help disability supports remain dependable across geographic lines and through major life changes.
Our work starts with the ways policy affects real decisions. We use those patterns to identify gaps, develop ideas, and push for systems that support greater freedom, mobility, and participation.
Our Focus
Our strongest policy focus is disability support service portability and continuity. We also work on administrative burden, geographic mobility, independent living, economic participation, and access across major life changes.
